Focal Area: Environmental protection and Sustainability

The Environment Club is a group of ecologically conscious faculties, non-teaching staff and students who are committed to raising awareness on environmental issues and to reducing negative environmental impact as individuals, communities, and as citizens of the world in every possible way. The club aims to promote and develop ecological ethics and the right attitude towards the environment by conducting various student-oriented activities. The objectives of the club are:

• To raise ecological consciousness and awareness amongst students and make them understand the ethics of ecology
• To promote and practice sustainability through educational campaigns and various creative activities
• To create awareness about reuse and recycling

• A distinguished Talk on “Environment Conservation and Volunteerism” by Arun Krishnamurthy, Founder, Environmentalist Foundation of India (24.05.2021)
• Nature Photography on the theme “Ecosystem Restoration” in collaboration with Pitara: School of Happiness (05.06.2021)
